Great crowds for Local Consult discussions

On Monday, KDOT hosted a Local Consult meeting in Chanute and held one in Topeka today.  The meetings have had strong turnout.  Citizens have discussed the transportation needs of their community and KDOT staff have provided updates on projects currently underway.  About $2 billion worth of projects are scheduled to begin in the eastern portion of the state.
