More than 60 people are attending today's Local Consult meeting in Garden City.  This is an opportunity to discuss transportation needs in southwest Kansas. To date, more than 1,012 highway miles have been improved in this region through the state transportation program T-WORKS. More than $130 million has been invested in highways, short-line rail, aviation and transit and more than $360 million of work remains to be completed in southwest Kansas.
