The answer is… Atlanta, which serves more than 92 million passengers annually.

Road congestion in the United States is declining?

B. False

This is true. Road congestion has declined since 2005. This may be due in part to public transit ridership being on the rise.

 What percentage of expenses does transportation account for in the average U.S. household?
A. 7%
B. 17%
C. 27%
D. 37%

The correct answer is 17 percent, which is about half as much as the average household spends on housing expenses.
