With the green beer flowing faster than the Kansas river, it's not surprising that there is an increase of alcohol-related traffic accidents on St. Patrick's Day.
In fact, Forbes lists St. Patrick's Day as one of the most dangerous holidays for driving. And according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, from 2008 to 2012, drunk driving claimed 268 lives on St. Patrick’s Day
alone—an average of 54 deaths on each St. Patrick’s Day in the past five
