Today’s work zone video illustrates
that highway workers have family members and friends who depend on them.
These people know the workers’ jobs
are important to keep transportation moving in Kansas.
But they also worry. Is today the
day my loved one is going to be hurt in a work zone crash…or worse?

Thanks for this video with so many heartfelt comments by the families of highway workers. We all deserve to be safe so we can go home to our loved ones when the work is done.
ReplyDeleteIt's a team effort - for both the highway workers out there on the roadways, and the loved ones who support them. Thank you to all the people 'behind the scene.'
ReplyDeleteSafety is important to all our workers and their families. None of us wants to lose a friend or loved one in a work zone crash. If you are driving through a work zone, pay attention and slow down. These folks are people who deserve to make it home tonight.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this video on the perspective of family members regarding work zone safety. It truly touched my heart and opened my eyes to the potential dangers that workers face every day. It's heart-wrenching to think about the impact that a work zone accident could have on not only the workers, but also their families and loved ones. This video has reminded me of the importance of work zone safety and has inspired me to be more vigilant and aware when driving through construction areas. Thank you again for sharing this important message.
ReplyDeleteEnsuring safety in work zones not only protects the workers on site but also brings peace of mind to their families at home fostering a sense of security and well-being for everyone involved.
ReplyDeleteSeeing how much family cares is always a great reminder to be careful out there. These people are counting on us to stay vigilant and watch out for their loved ones. The message really inspires me to limit distractions on the road, especially in construction zones.
